CIPM MRA COMPARISON REPORTS

This report describes the supplementary comparison EURAMET.M.T-S6 for torque value from 10 N·m to 500 N·m between PTB (Germany) and LNE (France) in both clockwise and anticlockwise direction. In this comparison exercise, five torque transducers were used as transfer standards. The results of the transducers at each torque step, expressed as relative deviations between the measurement results of LNE and PTB, were combined using the generalized weighted mean. Two evaluations were considered: the first with the relative deviations supposed uncorrelated and the second with the relative deviations supposed correlated. Both evaluations supports the uncertainty claims of LNE for this comparison.
