Le Nigéria adhère au CIPM MRA

On 13 October 2026, the Director General of Nigeria’s National Metrology Institute (NMI) signed the CIPM Mutual Recognition Arrangement (CIPM MRA).

As a signatory to the CIPM MRA, the Institute is now able to participate in international scientific comparisons, develop Calibration and Measurement Capabilities (CMCs), and publish them in the CIPM MRA database (the KCDB).

Nigeria participates in the CIPM MRA through its National Metrology Institute (NMI), Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), which is a member of the Intra-Africa Metrology System (AFRIMETS), the Regional Metrology Organization (RMO) recognized by the CIPM.
