Benefits
Activities open to Associates:
- Attending meetings of the General Conference on Weights and Measures (CGPM) (BIPM's plenary body) without voting rights
- Attending meetings of Directors of National Metrology Institutes (NMIs), Member State and Associate Representatives
- Accessing BIPM Capacity Building and e-learning activities
Commitments
Associates commit to:
- Supporting the mission of the BIPM to sustain, enhance and develop global comparability of measurements through:
- Maintaining and disseminating the International System of Units (SI) and Coordinated Universal Time (UTC);
- Promoting metrological coordination and collaboration;
- Adhering to the Resolutions of the General Conference.
- Supporting the BIPM financially by paying:
- an annual subscription.
