Abstract

This paper provides the recommended numerical values and uncertainties of the ozone absorption cross section, with appropriate significant digits and rounding, expressed in the different units commonly found in documentary standards. Use of these values in documentary standards will ensure consistency in reported values. The paper also gives guidance on how the quantity can be described to be most consistent with current written standards on quantities and expressed in SI units.
