The United Mexican States

The United Mexican States became a Member State in 1890.



In November 2014 the CGPM elected Dr Ismael Castelazo, Director General for Technology Services, CENAM, to the CIPM. Dr Castelazo started his term at the March 2015 session of the CIPM.

Dr Castelazo is President of the Consultative Committee for Length (CCL).

Representatives of the NMIs or designated institutes of the United Mexican States (see CIPM MRA) participate in the following Consultative Committees:
