As we approach the end of this milestone year, the BIPM is bringing the global metrology community together one last time to celebrate the conclusion of the 150th anniversary of the Metre Convention.

Our online event, “Highlights from BIPM150: A 30-minute special”, will offer a concise and engaging look back at the moments, collaborations and national celebrations that shaped 2025 — with contributions from across the world.

What to expect:

• opening reflections from BIPM Director, Dr Martin Milton OBE;
• a selection of national highlights presented by NMIs;
• video snapshots from the May anniversary events in Sèvres and at UNESCO;
• closing remarks from Director Designate, Dr Annette Koo, with a look ahead to 2026.
