The web pages have now been launched for the 27th meeting of the General Conference on Weights and Measures (CGPM), to be held on 15-18 November 2022. They include the Convocation, the Draft Resolutions and an outline agenda. The webpages will be updated as further documents become available. Stakeholders will also be updated about the preparation for the CGPM through the ‘News’ and ‘Reports and announcements’ sections of the BIPM website as well as via BIPM eNews.

The unprecedented travel restrictions imposed because of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic mean that it is unlikely that all Member States will be able to be fully represented in person at the meeting. For this reason, the CIPM has recognized that the meeting should be held in a hybrid format that will allow both in-person and remote participation. A “Special procedure” has been proposed by the CIPM to introduce the special technical arrangements for a hybrid meeting. The meeting will be held at the Palais des Congrès de Versailles.
