Information for Partner and Stakeholder Organizations for the BIPM-WMO Workshop on Metrology for Climate Action

Organizations may support the workshop as either Partners or Stakeholders.

Partner Organizations

Organizations wishing to apply for Partner status for the BIPM-WMO workshop shall:

• have activities related to the workshop themes and aligned to aims of workshop;
• be prepared to provide support for the meeting organization and financial support for meeting platforms;
• promote the workshop and solicit submissions of posters and presentations from their organization and relevant networks;
• provide experts for peer reviews of submitted abstracts for papers/presentations;
• be willing to promote the outcomes of the workshop.

If granted partner status, the organization will:

• have its logo added to the Workshop webpage, and a brief description of how its activities relate to the Workshop aims, and a link to the Partner Organization’s chosen webpage;
• have a dedicated room in the virtual meeting and be able to interact directly with participants in the poster/presentations sessions;
• have a link from the workshop webpage to a summary of the presentations, posters and room events that it is sponsoring/ providing during the workshop;

Stakeholder Organizations

Organizations wishing to apply for Stakeholder status for the BIPM-WMO workshop shall:

• have activities that are consistent with the workshop aims;
• be willing to promote the outcomes of the workshop.

If granted partner status, the organization will:

• have its name added to the Workshop webpage, and a link to the Stakeholders Organization’s chosen webpage;
• have the opportunity to submit a poster for review and inclusion in the virtual poster/presentation sessions.

The decision to accept or deny an organization for either partner or stakeholder status lies solely with the Workshop Chairs, and in submitting an application the organization agrees to abide by the decision taken.
