Aim
This workshop will explore how digital tools are changing the way we handle data in photometry and radiometry. As metrology moves toward a more digital future, it is important to use clear and standardized formats for sharing and processing measurement data. Participants will learn about commonly used digital formats like XML and JSON, and how these can improve accuracy, communication, and efficiency in measurements.
The event will also look at applications that can offer practical insights for those working with light and radiation measurements in a digital environment. A key topic will be the SI Digital Framework, which aims to support global consistency in digital metrology by linking measurement data to the International System of Units (SI) through machine-readable structures.
