OUT NOW: World Metrology Day 2026 Poster

The official poster for World Metrology Day 2026 is now available, highlighting this year’s theme: Metrology: Building Trust in Policy Making.

The poster was designed in association with A*STAR NMC, to support communication and outreach activities ahead of 20 May.

Supporting communication on metrology and policy

National Metrology Institutes (NMIs), legal metrology authorities, regulators, academic institutions and international partners are encouraged to use the poster in their World Metrology Day activities.

It can be displayed at events, shared on social media, or incorporated into outreach and educational materials to:

  • illustrate how measurement supports evidence-based policy making
  • highlight the role of the International System of Units (SI) in ensuring coherence and comparability of data
  • raise awareness of metrology’s contribution to public trust, safety, sustainability and economic stability

The poster is available in multiple formats, including Adobe® Photoshop® and PDF, and may be customized with organizational logos or translated for local use.

Organizations are also invited to share translated versions and details of their activities via the World Metrology Day website, helping to showcase global engagement with this year’s theme.
