The workshop is organised as part of the activities of the FORUM-MD Task Group on Data Quality and FAIR Practices in Metrology (FORUM-MD-TG-DQ&FPM) answering to the request of FORUM-MD Working Group on coordination between Regional Metrology Organizations (FORUM-MD-WG-RMO).
Overview
The FAIR data principles are becoming more prevalent in metrological processes but there is not currently a uniform approach to applying these principles in metrology and they are less commonly applied outside of Europe. This event is a webinar focused on FAIR data principles in metrology, aimed at providing practical insights and examples from National Metrological Institutes (NMI) and RMOs.
It will feature a series of 20-minute talks covering topics an introduction to FAIR data, recommendations from the EURAMET research data management project 1449, the SI Digital Framework, and regional experiences with FAIR implementation. The programme will conclude with a round table discussion involving all speakers and participant questions.
To accommodate different time zones, the webinar will be held twice on the same day at 08:00 UTC and 15:00 UTC.
