Workshop aim

The online workshop on Microplastics Measurements and Standards aims to foster exchange between stakeholders and national measurement institutes (NMIs) to assess the state of the art in microplastics measurements and identify priority needs to further develop the metrology infrastructure in this area.

This workshop will cover topics such as current identification and quantification techniques, programs in this field within NMIs and other organizations and relevant activities within international standards committees. Requirements for further development of traceable microplastic methods and reference materials will be investigated with the ultimate objective of aligning current efforts within NMIs to stakeholder needs.
