NOMINAL VALUE : 37 kBq g-1

The key comparison reference value is obtained by applying the power moderated weighted mean of the results giving
xR = 37.10 kBq g-1 with a standard uncertainty uR = 0.18 kBq g-1.

 

The degree of equivalence of each laboratory with respect to the reference value is given by a pair of terms:
Di = (xi - xR) and Ui, its expanded uncertainty (k = 2), both expressed in kBq g-1 and Ui = 2((1-wi)ui2 + uR2)1/2, where wi is the weight of laboratory i contributing to the calculation of xR.

 

When required, the degree of equivalence between two laboratories can be evaluated by a pair of terms: Dij = Di - Dj = (xi - xj) and Uij, its expanded uncertainty (k = 2), both expressed in kBq g-1.
The approximation Uij ~ 2(ui2 + uj2)1/2 may be used for the computation of the pair-wise degrees of equivalence.
