Results

The key comparison reference value xR and its associated standard uncertainty uR for each measurand interval is computed from the weighted mean of the largest consistent subset of participants reported results, as explained in Section 6.1 of the APMP.L-K5.n01 Final report.

The values and standard uncertainties of the key comparison reference values are given in Table 7 of Section 6.5 (page 9 ) of the APMP.L-K5.n01 Final report.

 

The degree of equivalence of laboratory i relative to the key comparison reference value xR is given by a pair of terms, both expressed in μm:

Di = (xi - xR) and its expanded uncertainty Ui at a 95 % level of confidence where Ui = 2 (ui2 - uR2)1/2 for participants whose measurements contributed to the calculation of xand Ui = 2 (ui2 + uR2)1/2 for participants whose measurements did not contribute to the calculation of xR.
