The key comparison reference value is the BIPM evaluation of absrobed dose to water.
BIPM.RI(I)-K4
The degree of equivalence of each laboratory i with respect to the key comparison reference value is given by a pair of terms both expressed in mGy/Gy:
the relative difference D_{i} and U_{i}, its expanded uncertainty (k = 2), with U_{i}_{ }= 2u_{i}.
When required, the degree of equivalence between two laboratories i and j can be evaluated by a pair of terms both expressed in mGy/Gy:
D_{ij }= D_{i} - D_{j}_{ }and U_{ij} , its expanded uncertainty (k = 2). The approximation for U_{ij} is explained in section 5 of the Final Report.
Linking SIM.RI(I)-K4 to BIPM.RI(I)-K4
The relative value x_{i}_{ }is the comparison result for laboratory i participant in SIM.RI(I)-K4 and was normalized to the value of NRC acting as the linking laboratory (see SIM.RI(I)-K4 Final Report).
The degree of equivalence of each laboratory i participant in SIM.RI(I)-K4 with respect to the key comparison reference value is given by a pair of terms both expressed in mGy/Gy: D_{i} = (x_{i} - 1) x 1000 and U_{i}, its expanded uncertainty (k = 2).
Linking EUROMET.RI(I)-K4 to BIPM.RI(I)-K4
The relative value x_{i}_{ }is the comparison result for laboratory i participant in EUROMET.RI(I)-K4 and is linked to the BIPM.RI(I)-K4 via the nine linking laboratories ARPANSA, BEV, ENEA-INMRI, LNE-LNHB, METAS, MKEH, NRC, PTB and VSL (see EUROMET.RI(I)-K4 Final Report).
The degree of equivalence of each laboratory i participant in EUROMET.RI(I)-K4 with respect to the key comparison reference value is given by a pair of terms both expressed in mGy/Gy: D_{i} = (x_{i} - 1) x 1000 and U_{i}, its expanded uncertainty (k = 2).

The linking of EURAMET.RI(I)-K4.1 to BIPM.RI(I)-K4 was made via BEV, LNE-LNHB and METAS, having participated in both comparisons.

The linking of APMP.RI(I)-K4 to BIPM.RI(I)-K4 was made via ARPANSA, NMIJ-AIST and PTB having participated in both comparisons.
The degree of equivalence of each laboratory i participant in APMP.RI(I)-K4 with respect to the key comparison reference value is given by a pair of terms both expressed in mGy/Gy: D_{i} = (x_{i} - 1) x 1000 and U_{i}, its expanded uncertainty (k = 2).
Following decision of the CCRI in 2011, the pair-wise degrees of equivalence are not explicitely published in the KCDB.
