CCM.M-K4

For each of the travelling mass standards, the key comparison reference value, xR, and its standard uncertainty, uR, were obtained using the generalized linear least-squares method as explained in section VII of the CCM.M-K4 Final Report.

The degree of equivalence of each laboratory i with respect to the reference value is given by a pair of terms:

Di and Ui its expanded uncertainty (k = 2), both expressed in mg.
Detailed information on the evaluation of Di and Ui may be found in section VIII of the Final Report.

There were no degrees of equivalence between pair of laboratories calculated for this comparison.

 

Linking SIM.M.M-K4 to CCM.M-K4

The results of the SIM.M.M-K4 comparison were linked to CCM.M-K4 via the CENAM and NRC. The linking procedure is described on pages 5 to 7 of the SIM.M.M-K4 Final Report.

 

Linking APMP.M.M-K4.1 to CCM.M-K4

KRISS participated in both key comparisons, APMP.M.M-K4.1 and CCM.M-K4, providing a link between the NMC, A*STAR result and the key comparison reference value of CCM.M-K4. The linkage process is described in Section 7 of the APMP.M.M-K4.1 Final Report.

 

Linking EURAMET.M.M-K4.2015 to CCM.M-K4

The results of the EURAMET.M.M-K4.2015 comparison were linked to CCM.M-K4 via the BEV, BIPM, LNE, METAS and NPL. The linkage process is described in Section 7 of the EURAMET.M.M-K4.2015 Final Report.

 

Linking GULFMET.M.M-K4 to CCM.M-K4

The results of the GULFMET.M.M-K4 comparison were linked to CCM.M-K4 via the INRIM, METAS and KRISS. The linkage process is described in Section 7 of the GULFMET.M.M-K4 Final Report.

CCM.M-K4

The key comparison was organized in four simultaneous “petals”. Each of the four participants within a petal received the same two travelling mass standards as follows:
Petal 1: Mass standards B5 and C1; Petal 2: Mass standards B6 and C2; Petal 3: Mass standards B7 and D1; Petal 4: Mass standards B8 and D2.

The pilot laboratory, the BIPM, carried out a comparison of the standards before the comparison started, and after completion of measurements within each petal.

xi : reported result obtained as the difference between the measurement of the mass standard carried out by laboratory i and its nominal value, and corrected for the drift of the travelling mass standard as explained on page 8 of the Final Report.
ui : combined standard uncertainty of xi

 

SIM.M.M-K4

APMP.M.M-K4.1
