NOMINAL VALUE : pNOM = 10 MPa

The linkage of the results of APMP.M.P-K7 to those of CCM.P-K7 is ensured by the common participation in both comparisons of three laboratories: the NMIJ, the PTB, and the NPLI.
The values for the linkage are obtained through combined differences calculated by a weighted mean method applied to the results of the corresponding differences of the linking institutes in both comparisons, as explained in Section 8 on page 65 of the APMP.M.P-K7 Final Report.
These weighted means obtained in CCM.P-K7 and APMP.M.P-K7 are respectively denoted XCCM and YAPMP.

XCCM - YAPMP = -9.1 10-6

The difference XCCM - YAPMP is considerably smaller than the expanded uncertainties claimed by the participating institutes in APMP.M.P-K7, and the results of the linking institutes in both key comparisons are comparable. Therefore, the uncertainty UiAPMP obtained for laboratory i having participated in APMP.M.P-K7 is transferred to key comparison CCM.P-K7 without modification.

The same method is applied to APMP.M.P-K7.1 results, the linkage being ensured by the common participation of NMIJ (see Section 8 of the APMP.M.P-K7.1 Final Report).

The degree of equivalence of laboratory i having participated only in APMP.M.P-K7 with respect to the CCM.P-K7 key comparison reference value is given by a pair of terms:
Di = DiAPMP + XCCM - YAPMP and Ui = UiAPMP, its expanded uncertainty (k = 2).

This statement makes it possible to build up the complete graph of equivalence.
The degree of equivalence between one laboratory i having participated in CCM.P-K7 and one laboratory j having participated only in APMP.M.P-K7 is given by a pair of terms:
Dij = Di - Dj, and Uij = (Ui2 + Uj2)1/2, its expanded uncertainty (k = 2).

The degree of equivalence between two laboratories i and j having participated only in APMP.M.P-K7 is given by a pair of terms:
Dij = DijAPMP, and Uij = UijAPMP, its expanded uncertainty (k = 2).

These statements make it possible to extend the CCM.P-K7 matrix of equivalence to all participants in the APMP key comparisons only.

The complete matrices of equivalence are computed here only for three values of the nominal pressure: 10 MPa, 50 MPa, and 100 MPa.
  • Linking key comparison EUROMET.M.P-K4 to CCM.P-K7

NOMINAL VALUE : pNOM = 10 MPa

The linkage of the results of EUROMET.M.P-K4 to those of CCM.P-K7 is ensured by the common participation in both comparisons of four laboratories: INRIM, LNE, NPL and PTB.
The values for the linkage are obtained through combined differences calculated by a weighted mean method applied to the results of the corresponding differences of the linking institutes in both comparisons, as explained in Section 2 of the EUROMET.M.P-K4 Linkage Report. For each nominal pressure pNOM, these weighted means obtained in CCM.P-K7 and EUROMET.M.P-K4 are respectively denoted XCCM and YEUR.

XCCM - YEUR = 0.1 10-6

The difference XCCM - YEUR is considerably smaller than the expanded uncertainties claimed by the participating institutes in EUROMET.M.P-K4, and the results of the linking institutes in both key comparisons are comparable. Therefore, the uncertainty UiEUR obtained for laboratory i having participated in EUROMET.M.P-K4 is transferred to key comparison CCM.P-K7 without modification.

The degree of equivalence of laboratory i having participated only in EUROMET.M.P-K4 with respect to the CCM.P-K7 key comparison reference value is given by a pair of terms:
Di = DiEUR + XCCM - YEUR and Ui = UiEUR, its expanded uncertainty (k = 2).

This statement makes it possible to build up the complete graph of equivalence.
No pair-wise degrees of equivalence have been computed for laboratories participating only in key comparison EUROMET.M.P-K4.
  • Linking key comparison COOMET.M.P-K2 to CCM.P-K7

The linkage of the results of COOMET.M.P-K2 to those of CCM.P-K7 is ensured by the common participation in both comparisons of two laboratories: NPL and PTB. Therefore, the uncertainty UiAPMP obtained for laboratory i having participated in APMP.M.P-K7 is transferred to key comparison CCM.P-K7 without modification.
