Key comparison reference value:
The SIR reference value for this radionuclide is xR = 10 116 kBq, with a standard uncertainty uR = 13 kBq, see section 4.1 of the Final Report dated 2013.

The degree of equivalence of laboratory i with respect to the key comparison reference value is given by a pair of terms:
Di = (xi - xR) and Ui, its expanded uncertainty (k = 2), both expressed in kBq. With n the number of laboratories, when each laboratory has contributed to the computation of xR, see Metrologia, 42, 140-144.

When required, the degree of equivalence between two laboratories is given by a pair of terms:
Dij = Di - Dj = (xi - xj) and Uij, its expanded uncertainty (k = 2), both expressed in kBq. The approximation Uij ~ 2(ui2 + uj2)1/2 may be used for the computation of the pair-wise degrees of equivalence.

The value xi is the equivalent activity for laboratory i participant in APMP.RI(II)-K2.Cs-134 having been normalized to the value of the BIPM as the linking laboratory (see the Final Report dated September 2007).

The degree of equivalence of laboratory i participant in APMP.RI(II)-K2.Cs-134 with respect to the key comparison reference value is given by a pair of terms:
Di = (xi - xR) and Ui, its expanded uncertainty (k = 2), both expressed in kBq.
The approximation Ui = 2(ui2 + uR2)1/2 is used.

When required, the degree of equivalence between two laboratories i and j, participants in one or another of the two key comparisons, is given by a pair of terms both expressed in kBq: Dij = Di - Dj and Uij, its expanded uncertainty (k = 2). Correlations between pairs of laboratories are taken into account as explained in Section 4.2.2 on page 14 of the Final Report dated September 2007.
