The method how to calculate a common key comparison reference value, x_{R} , and associated expanded uncertainty at a 95% confidence level, U_{R},and the reciprocal Degrees of Equivalence is described on pages 14 to 19 of the CCM.DK4 Final Report and in Section 3.2.1 of the Supplement to CCM.DK4.
The degree of equivalence, D_{i}, of laboratory i with respect to the key comparison reference value is given by a par of therms: the difference D_{i} and its expanded uncertainty (95% confidence level) U_{i} .

The results of EUROMET.M.DK4 were linked to CCM.M.DK4 via the liking institutes INRiM, MKEH and the PTB who participated in both comparisons.
