The key comparison reference value is defined as the SIR reference value.

The key comparison reference value xR = 15 800 kBq with a standard uncertainty uR = 31 kBq (see Section 4 of the BIPM.RI(I)-K1.Ge-68 Final Report).

The degree of equivalence of each laboratory with respect to the reference value is given by a pair of terms: Di = (xI - xR) and its expanded uncertainty Ui at a 95 % level of confidence (k = 2), both expressed in MBq. Ui  = 2((1 - 2wi)ui2 + uR2)1/2  where 2wi is the weight of laboratory i contributing to the calculation of xR.

 

Linking CCRI.RI(II)-K2.Ge-68 to BIPM.RI(II)-K1.Ge-68

The value xi is the equivalent activity for laboratory i participant in CCRI(II)-K2.Ge-68 having been normalized using the NIST, NIM, IRA-METAS and LNE-LNHB as linking laboratory (see Section 4 of the BIPM.RI(I)-K1.Ge-68 Final Report).

The degree of equivalence of laboratory i participant in CCRI(II)-K2.Ge-68 with respect to the key comparison reference value is given by a pair of terms: Di = (xI - xR) and its expanded uncertainty Ui at a 95 % level of confidence (k = 2), both expressed in MBq.  The approximation Ui  = 2(ui2 + uR2)1/2 is applied.
