MEASURAND   Copy number ratio DP-073494-4/FatA(A)

The key comparison reference value xR and its associated standard uncertainty uR are obtained from, respectively, the median and median absolute deviation of the results used in the calculation, and both given as copy number ratio expressed as a percentage.  All CCQM-K86.c participants’ results were used to calculate the key comparison reference value for Sample T1.  The standard uncertainty for the median includes a scaling factor of sqrt(PI/2) for the asymptotic variance of the median, and additionally includes an allowance for inhomogeneity among samples provided to participants.

       xR = 0.115 cp/cp (%)     uR = 0.0086 cp/cp (%)

The degree of equivalence of laboratory i relative to the key comparison reference value xR is given by a pair of terms, both expressed in cp/cp (%):

Di = (xi - xR) and its expanded uncertainty Ui at a 95 % level of confidence where Ui = 2 ui.

MEASURAND   Copy number ratio RT73/FatA

The key comparison reference value xR and its associated standard uncertainty uR are obtained from, respectively, the median and median absolute deviation of the results used in the calculation, and both given as copy number ratio expressed as a percentage.  Only those CCQM-K86.c participants using FatA as reference gene were included in the calculation, participants using FatA(A) were not included.  The standard uncertainty for the median includes a scaling factor of sqrt(PI/2) for the asymptotic variance of the median, and additionally includes an allowance for inhomogeneity among samples provided to participants.

       xR = 2.91 cp/cp (%)     uR = 0.22 cp/cp (%)

The degree of equivalence of laboratory i relative to the key comparison reference value xR is given by a pair of terms, both expressed in cp/cp (%):

Di = (xi - xR) and its expanded uncertainty Ui at a 95 % level of confidence where Ui = 2 ui.
