Abstract. A comparison of the ozone reference standards of the Department of Environment and Climate Change NSW (DECC NSW) and of the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM) has been performed. Both institutes maintain Standard Reference Photometers (SRPs), developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), as their reference standards. The instruments were compared over a nominal ozone mole fraction range of 0 nmol/mol to 500 nmol/mol and the results showed good agreement.
