International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC)

The International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) is a worldwide, non-political organization for clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine.

Through leadership and innovation in science and education they strive to enhance the scientific level and the quality of diagnosis and therapy for patients throughout the world. Their focus is on scientific standards, publications, education and communications. The mission of the IFCC's Scientific Division is to advance the science of Clinical Chemistry and to apply it to the practice of Clinical Laboratory Medicine. It instigates and promotes theoretical and practical developments in the field of standards and standardisation in clinical chemistry .
