The second meeting of the Joint Working Group 2.1 "Relativistic Geodesy: First steps towards a new geodetic technique" of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG) is scheduled to take place at the BIPM on 10-11 October 2018.
The Working Group, co-chaired by Jakob Flury (Leibniz Universität Hannover) and Gérard Petit (BIPM Time Department) brings together experts from geodesy and time/frequency metrology to review and develop concepts and ideas on relativistic geodesy. Working group members and some invited experts will take part in the meeting at the BIPM.
