Links between the BIPM and the ICRM

  • The ICRM participates in the Section II of the CCRI (CCRI(II)).

Purpose

The ICRM is an association of radionuclide metrology laboratories and its role complements that of the CCRI(II).

The ICRM organizes a programme of conferences and meetings of specialist working groups and is an international forum for the dissemination of information on techniques, applications and data in the field of radionuclide metrology.

The BIPM and the ICRM cooperate to disseminate information about the SI, the CIPM MRA and the KCDB. Members of the BIPM's radionuclide activity team attend the ICRM Conference to present their work and promote interest in precision radionuclide metrology.
