KCDB 2.0 - TC Chairs in General Physics and Ionizing Radiation

Overview

In order for the global metrology system to continue to improve, whilst underpinning its long-term sustainability, it is necessary to operate the technical framework - the CIPM MRA - as effectively as possible. This can be achieved by optimal use of the KCDB tools.

In this regard the BIPM is offering a series of online technical exchanges aimed at supporting those who actually coordinate the review and act as reviewers.

These online technical exchanges focus on TC Chairs in General physics and Ionizing Radiation. It will require participants to prepare by watching a selection of short video clips and/or presentations. The sessions will adopt a 'questions and answers' format with experts from the BIPM team. Duration is usually less than one hour.

PARTICIPATION IS OPEN ONLY FOR THOSE WHO DIRECTLY PARTICIPATE IN THE CIPM MRA.

These online technical exchanges are focused on those who operate (typically the TC/WG Chairs, TC/WG members) who are involved in the review process).

In addition to TC/WG Chairs, the following are eligible:

• TC/WG Deputy Chairs, where duties are shared;
• Potential TC/WG Chairs.

The online technical exchanges will be announced as they become available.
