CIPM MRA experts have received training to optimize their use of the newly-launched KCDB 2.0 The "Optimizing the CIPM MRA - the KCDB 2.0" course, organized by the BIPM and sponsored by NIST, was held from 4-8 November 2019 at the BIPM. The aim of the course was to equip those who operate the CIPM MRA CMC review processes with the appropriate skill-set and information to use the KCDB 2.0 as efficiently as possible. The new KCDB website (KCDB 2.0) is live. The BIPM is pleased to announce the launch of the new KCDB website (KCDB 2.0). New Presidents of the CCAUV and CCRI The CIPM appointed two new Consultative Committee (CC) Presidents at Session II of its 108th meeting (October 2019). The CIPM has made Dr Barry Inglis an honorary member The CIPM has bestowed honorary membership on Dr Barry Inglis in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the work of the committee. "Français et Sciences 2019" competition The BIPM and the LNE are partners in support of the competition "Français et Sciences" (French Language and Sciences), which this year is dedicated to the Moon.
