Dear Dr.Claudine Thomas,
Dear Dr. Jim Ray,

This is to inform you that in the framework of the IGS/BIPM
Pilot project since August 1998 the following stations of the
National Service of Russia for Time, Frequency and ERP determi-
nation have started GPS and GLONASS signal receptions on a
regular basis using Ashtech receivers model Z-18. These stations
are Mendeleevo, Irkoutsk and Khabarovsk.
All the stations apply the similar working schedule: 10 days
for GPS signal receptions, 10 days for GLONASS signal
receptions and 10 days for a mix reception. 5 MHz frequency
from hydrogen standards is supplied to the receivers. 1 pps code
signal from the output of each recever is compared with 1 pps
signal of the same hydrogen standard.
Please note that we are ready to provide the accumulated
information and to start transmission of the current
information on a regular basis.
Looking forward to your reply,
With best wishes,
Sergey Poushkin.
