Accommodations:
Sea Lodge on La Jolla Shores Beach
8110 Camino Del Oro, La Jolla, CA 92037
Reservations Line: 800-237-5211; fax (619) 456-9346; e-mail: www.sealodge.com
Please reference Scripps IGS-IGPP meeting for a discounted rate.
As indicated in the first circular, 50 rooms had been reserved for arrival on
June 7, for 3 nights, departing on June 11, for reservations made until May 7.
Therefore, we can no longer guarantee that rooms will be available. This is
the beginning of summer season and the hotel is right on the beach.
Note: There is a problem that U.S. government travel rates do not allow more
than $89/night for lodging. Here are three alternatives:
Travelodge in La Jolla Birdrock area: $80/night (619) 454-0716
Travelodge La Jolla on Silverado: $50-80/night (619) 454-0791
Del Mar Hilton: $ 89/night (619) 792-5200
Of the three, the Travelodge on Silverado is the closest. This is not a large
hotel, so rooms may fill up fast.
