To: gpst@maia.usno.navy.mil Date: Wed, 03 Mar 1999 16:24:00 EST X-Mailer: Elm [revision: 212.4] Status: RO At the last PTTI meeting, Bill Klepczynski, Gerard Petit, Wlodek Lewandowski, and I decided to try to find a time when the IGS/BIPM carrier phase working group could meet together with the TWSTT working group. The TWSTT group was already planning a meeting in December 1999 at USNO, around the time of the next PTTI meeting. It seemed like a good idea to try to get together with the carrier phase group around the same time. Scheduling has been very difficult, but here is a possible plan: Week Day Dates Meetings -------- ---------- ---------------------------------------------------- TWT 07-09 Dec. PTTI Meeting, Laguna Clifts Marriott, Dana Point, CA F 10 Dec. joint mtg of Carrier Phase & TWSTT groups, LA area S 11 Dec. continued mtg of Carrier Phase group, LA area S 12 Dec. --- MT 13-14 Dec. TWSTT WG Meeting at USNO, Washington, DC MTWTF 13-17 Dec. Fall AGU Meeting, San Francisco, CA Under this plan, the joint meeting would but held in the LA area immediately after the PTTI meeting, on 10 December (Friday). The carrier phase meeting could continue on the following day. Logistically, this is probably be OK for those planning to attend the AGU meeting in San Francisco the following week. A possible meeting site in the Los Angeles area is being investigated. The purpose of this message is for long-term planning and to gauge the level of interest in such a working group meeting. It would be very helpful if you would reply to the following questions.
