NMIs wishing to submit samples for evaluation should contact the BIPM in advance and take note of the important information for participants in the SIR. Attention must be paid to the administrative procedure [ADM.DOU.P-03] for sending the ampoule to the BIPM, and a completed shipping form [ADM.DOU.F-12] must be sent in advance.
The BIPM needs to receive a confirmation of your authorization to export radioactive materials to us. Please could you send us that confirmation in the form of a letter such as the example given here.
Results should be submitted using the SIR reporting form for liquid samples or for gas samples.
