The JCTLM-WG1 is charged with establishing a process for identifying, reviewing against agreed criteria, and publishing, list(s) of Higher Order Certified Reference Materials and Reference Measurement Procedures required for industry compliance with the EC IVDD. The review criteria for the Cycle V(2008) call for Reference Materials have been expanded to require compliance with ISO 15194:2003 and ISO Guide 34, and self-declaration that the statement on commutability of the material is consistent with its scope of applicability.
