The main objective of the JCGM ad hoc group on measurement software is the elaboration of a guide for the development and assessment of measurement software. This guide would assist: (a) developers of measurement software in the production of software that is fit for purpose; and (b) assessors of measurement software in confirming that developed software meets its specification.
