The BIPM Finance, Administration and General Services Department is responsible for:
- the financial and administrative management of the BIPM;
- human resources;
- legal issues;
- relations with States regarding financial, legal and administrative affairs;
- logistics for shipment and customs operations related to standards and instruments for comparisons and calibrations as well as procurement;
- logistics of meetings and other events.
